NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- New York Times best-selling author and Florida resident Tim Dorsey will discuss his Florida comic crime novels at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9.
Dorsey, a former night metro editor at the Tampa Tribune, is preparing to publish his 12th novel.
His novels feature Serge Storms, a homicidal antihero, and include enough detail about Florida to produce a travel guide of sorts, according to his publishers.
