DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A Daytona Beach k-9 officer crashed in what cops described as "an authorized pursuit today of a suspect wanted on a felony charge " and that the suspect is now in custody.
Both the officer and his k-9 partner are ok, but no other information has been released since DBPD posted pics on its Facebook page about an hour ago.
"During the pursuit, one of our K-9 vehicles crashed and rolled over on Nova Road near Sixth Street," Daytona Beach police posted under three photos of the upside down vehicle less than an hour ago, adding, "The fleeing suspect is now in custody."
No information was provided as to names of the suspect nor of the cop in the crash. Nor was anything released as to what kind of vehicle the suspect was drivubf ie wht caued rge cop to roll over his vehicle.
Nothing was posted on the DBPD website.
