ORLANDO, Fla. -- It was another beautiful sunny day here in Central Florida today, with a high of 87 degrees and packed crowds at the beaches in Daytona and New Smyrna.

Daytime temps throughout the week are expected to peak near 90 degrees with mostly sunny skies through the weekend. There's a 10 percent chance of rain on Sunday for Central Florida, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne. Here is the extended forecast for Orlando and the I-4 corridor through Sanford and Daytona Beach: 

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 90. Southeast wind around 5 mph. Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. East wind around 5 mph. Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 66. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 89. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 89. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 90. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: A 10 percent chance of showers. Sunny, with a high near 92. Light and variable wind becoming east northeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
