DELAND -- A 36-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night when he was struck on his Suzuki by a motorist in a car pulling out of a parking lot, DeLand police said.
Christopher Hellborn was thrown from his bike in the 10:30 p.m. low-speed accident on New York Avenue .
Her was not wearing a helmet, but DeLand police did not indicate if that would have made a difference.
