This has been a difficult few days to say the least. Just when I thought I had gotten over bronchitis, I got knocked for a loop. I took all of the medicine like I was supposed to -- including dreaded prednisone. I dislike prednisone because it makes me ferociously hungry and after it has run its course, about seven days, I have to deal with painful acne about my face, scalp, chest and back.
To make matters worse, I got my teeth whitened, requiring me to wear some weird white plast device to keep the chemicals from my gums and lips. Well, it didn't work very well and my upper inside lip was burned. It's now blistered, making it difficult to eat or drink, which would be a good thing, except for the prednisone hunger.
So hopefully before the weekend, I can catch up on what's happening in the news.
