NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Beginning Monday, June 14 at 7 pm, First United Methodist Church of New Smyrna Beach will begin a monthly prayer and healing service. It will then continue on the second Monday of each month at 7 pm in the church sanctuary.
"This informal service is for healing of every kind, whether physical, spiritual or emotional," said T.C. Wilder, an elder in the church. "The service is open all residents of Southeast Volusia, who are invited to come and lift up in prayer their own concerns, or to pray for a family member, loved one, a friend or to pray for brokenness in the community and the world."
The church is located at the corner of Palmetto and Douglas Streets. The Rev. Molly Warren is the senior pastor. The church web site
