DAYTONA BEACH -- Swine flu shots are available today at The Basilica of St. Paul Health Fair for anyone who wants to get vaccinated.
The swine flu epidemic has already peaked, but the county has a surplus of vaccinations and the disease is still out there, according to the Volusia County Health Department.
The free shots are available from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A Daytona Beach man, Frank Sword, 51, became the seventh swine-flu related death with his passing last month and the 215th in Florida since the outbreak first occurred a year ago in Mexico, also known as H1N1.
Any group of people, with 20 or more members can have the Health Department's outreach team visit them and provide free vaccinations by calling 866-821-7704.
