DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Race fans couldn't ask for a better weather forecast than Sunday at Daytona International Speedway 2ith Sunday's running of the Daytona 500 with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne.
Sunday at the World's Most Famous Beach in Daytona is another option.
Here is the weather forecast:
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 69. North wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51. North wind around 10 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 74. East wind 5 to 15 mph.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 58. East southeast wind around 5 mph.
Washington's Birthday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. East southeast wind 5 to 15 mph.
The start time for the Daytona 500 is 2:30 p.m. ET Sunday on FOX.
