Joann Brown, 81, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at home in Edgewater, Florida. Joann was born in Smithfield, NC and moved to this area in 1956.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Harold; their children, Loann (Richard) Cook of Maryville, TN, Hal (Joni) Brown of Port Orange, and Beth Hinzman of Port Orange; precious grand daughters Wendy (Jason) Knox of Arlington, VA, and Kelly (Tony) D'Ambrosio, of Lynchburg, VA.
Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 10 at Bella Vista Baptist Church in Edgewater, with Pastor John Marsh, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Florida 32129.
