Lions Club holding rummage sale April 16 an 17; appliance pickup on April 10

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- The Lions Club of New Smyrna Beach will hold its annual indoor-outdoor
rummage sale Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17, beginning at 8 a.m., at the
Lions clubhouse, 2340 Sunset Drive.

The Lions will accept and pick up all kinds of items from community donors. They are asking for clean, usable items, including sofas, stoves, refrigerators, and other items, all of which will be appreciated.

Please call Harry at 427-6141 or Larry at 690-9124 for pickup or drop off time at the clubhouse or for additional information. April 10th is the designated pickup day.

The Lions Club will have tables available to other area community organizations or individuals that would like to join them in raising funds for their community service programs. Interested parties should call one of the above numbers to reserve a table. A donation of ten dollars is requested.

All income from the rummage sale will be deposited in the Lions community service activities account. It will be used for such things as community sight conservation projects,hearing aids, scholarships, supporting the Daytona Beach Conklin Center fo rehabilitation of multi-handicapped persons,
the Florida Lions Club for handicapped youths in Lake Wales, seeing and hearing dogs training programs, diabetes awareness program; along with other local activities.
