NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- A 28-year-old Michigan biker was arrested Wednesday night on a charge of reckless driving after he and three others on sport bikes were "clocked at a high rate of speed" on State Road 415 near S.R. 44, according to an online District 5 Sheriff's report summary.
Jeremy Jamula was stopped at 11:53 p.m. after the group split up and fled on State Road 415 near State Road 44, according to the report. The others apparently got away. Jamula was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach. The Sheriff's summary report did not indicate his rate of speed.
