Mark Gajewski, 51, a New York biker, who works at Ground Zero, sports a sticker on the front of his Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic that reads "NEVER FORGET 9/11/01." The photos were taken Sunday afternoon at the Dairy Queen on U.S. 1, where the biker and several of his friends stopped for ice cream.
NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Mark "Ski" Gajewski, of New York, is here on Bike Week 2010 with a message emblazoned on the front of Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic for the world to see: "NEVER FORGET 9/11/01."
So have we forgotten in the eight-plus years since the largest terrorist attack on American soil that changed the psyche of America forever?
"Yes, we have forgotten," said Gajewski, who works for a mechanical and equipment company working at Ground Zero where the Twin Towers once stood proudly.
Not only has the 51-year-old Long Island resident put the stickers on his motorcycle, the message is also emblazoned in tattoos on both of his forearms.
To further display his distaste for the terrorist attack, the biker also has a bright orange sticker on the windshield of his Harley that reads: "State of New York Terrorist Hunting Permit -- No Fee, No Limit."
