It is no secret that Obama and I are polar opposites when it comes to which direction we should go to solve out problems. He believes strictly in government based solutions to solving all of our problems, from health care costs to job creation and energy independence. I believe in market solutions to these problems.
The reason I believe in market solutions is because to the best of my knowledge they work much much better than so-called government-based solutions.
The closest President Obama came to use of market solutions n his State of the Union address were comments promoting nuclear energy and more drilling for oil.
He spoke of job creation, but I heard no proposals that would promote job creation.
After shutting all of the opposition out of any discussions of the main bills they tried to ram through and giving no one time to read the bills, Obama is now calling for cooperation from the Republicans. He will first have to put in a lot of effort to regain any trust from the Republicans or from anyone else with any sense.
He seemed to have a strong tendency to blame everybody and every thing for the opposition to his agenda.
Obama made a lot of claims about the success of his actions that just don't appear have and validity.
Never did he consider that the opposition to his proposals is grounded in the fact that his proposals are totally bad for the country and his methods of trying to get them passed is totally sneaky and dishonest.
This all can be summarized saying that almost everything Obama is trying to do is simply wrong and almost everything he says is untrue. Under these conditions the welfare of the country depends on him failing to get his proposals into law.
