Marie Therese Burger 88, of Samsula, a Navy wife who raised five children and worked as a switchboard operator at the Apollo Division of General Electric, retiring in 1979, died Monday, January 25, 2010.

Betty Losnes, 81, of New Smyrna Beach, a former lab technician, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010.

James Howard Henry, 76, of Edgewater, a former job setter in the automotive industry, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010.

Ben H. Cockcroft, 75, of New Smyrna Beach, who worked for the Southeast Bank on Canal
Street for seven years and was President of Volusia County Bankers Association in
1983, before working as vice president of Tenchi Machinery in Edgewater for 16 years
and in 2000, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010.

Raymond "Buddy" Hester, 69, of New Smyrna Beach, who owned and operated Vogue Cleaners in New Smyrna Beach and was a life member of the Anglers' Yacht Club, who and enjoyed golf, fishing, and boating, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010.

owner of Frank's Barber Shop, Main Street, Dunedin, Fl for 36 years, survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010.

Allan McDougall, 94, of New Smyrna Beach, senior vice-president and comptroller at Southeast Bank, New Smyrna Beach for 30 years before his retirement, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010.

Joshua Dustin Cornelius, 31, of Pierson and formerly of New Smyrna Beach, attended New Smyrna Beach High School, and enjoyed surfing, drawing, skateboarding and carpentry, and is survived by his daughter, Amber Cornelius, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010.
