ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Orlando Magic at home Thursday night, 101-92, despite a game-high 35 points from Paolo Banchero.

Jaden Hardy finished with a team-high 22 points along with 5 three-pointers and 3 rebounds for the Mavericks, while Anthony Davis tallied 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists in the game.

Scoring totals / Headline SurferBanchero, the 6-foot-10 forward, continued his dominant scoring output with his fifth straight 30-plus-point performance -- this time, 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists. Shaquille O’Neal and Tracy McGrady are the only others in Magic history to score 30+ points in at least five consecutive outings.

Franz Wagner finished with 20 points but shot just 8-of-21 from the field and missed all five of his 3-point attempts. Anthony Black had 14 points, and Wendell Carter Jr. added 12.

With the win, the Mavericks improved their record to 35-38, while the Magic fell to 35-38 for the season.

The Magic's next game is Saturday on the road against the Sacramento Kings (5:00 PM ET, FanDuel Sports Network—Florida/NBCSCA)
