Qualifying: Only one contested race on Orange City Council with two other incumbents drawing no opposition

ORANGE CITY -- There is only one contested race in Orange City for the at-large seat with Vernon Stafford challenging the incumbent, Bill Crippen.

Incumbents in two other seats, Anthony Pupello in district 4 and Gary Blair in district 5 had no opposition and so are automatically re-elected to new four year terms following the November general election with qualifying having closed at noon Friday in the small Southwest Volusia city.
