Seminole County Sheriff's Office: Orange City woman arrested on charges of defrauding elderly Lake Mary woman

LAKE MARY, Fla. -- The Seminole County Sheriff's Office has arrested an Orange City woman on multiple felony counts of scheming to defraud an elderly Lake Mary woman out of $5,00 to $10,000. 

Geeta Rai, 35, was booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Sanford on Thursday where she has remained over the weekend on $18,000 bond in the alleged scamming of the 65-year-old victim she befriended. Seminole County Sheriff's detectives said they believe there may be other victims and that Rai nay have used another alias.
