Amy Sue Root is a cute little girl. She's a beautiful girl. She's one of God's creations. She had a terrible accident and she needs our help. Your's and mine and everyone else's.
There's a fundraiser noon until 4 p.m. today at the Beachside Tavern, 690 East Third Ave. The money raised from the event will go towards the purchase of a handicapped van equipped for a critical head injury such as her's to make her medical visits more practical and comfortable.
Each penny counts. I can't stress that enough. Please give what you can. God bless us that we are fortunate to have our health.
