How about more of President Trump vs. NFL players protesting during the National Anthem?

Trump renewed tweets against NFL players protesting during the national anthem in several pre-season NFL contests,  writing in part in the second of two tweets earlier in the day Friday, "The NFL players are at it again - taking a knee when they should be standing proudly for the National Anthem."

Telvin Smith, a player with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who raised his right fist during the playing of the anthem in a preseason game Thursday night said, "As a man, I've got to stand for something."

The Jags lost to the New Orleans Saints, 24-20. Smith said he didn't know if he'll protest every week but said he felt good about what he did prior to the Jags losing to the visiting New Orleans Saints, 24-20.
