Where's the honesty in president, vice president & attorney general?

EDGEWATER, Fla.-- Of all the people in the country, the most important three should be the president, vice president and attorney general.

Sadly we missed the boat this time on all of them.

Our president says one thing then reverses himself often while the press follows him around like puppy dogs sniffing for every word or photo op. The vice president seems a bit more efficient about what he says and does; however he has to defend the weird things his president says and does. Many times I have seen a look on his face as though he doesn’t believe what he is saying but has to support or try to fix whatever is happening this time.

The two leaders which should be above reproach are the president and the attorney general. Our president has espoused many false statements which they call “altered facts.”.

The newly-confirmed attorney general blatantly lied to Congress about having met with a Russian Ambassador twice during the campaign. Later he was forced to admit he had met the ambassador so he recused himself from an investigation of Russia tampering with our recent election. What he should do is resign.

He does not have a stellar history and is a liar and does not deserve to be our top legal chief. I don’t believe I have ever seen so many appointed officials of a new government either remove themselves from the running or being asked to resign after confirmed. The whole government -- top to bottom -- makes no sense. The head of the school system has virtually nothing to do with education. The head of Housing is a doctor so are we to believe he knows anything about that job?

A man called "Mad Dog" is heading the Armed Services. That sure terrifies me. This entire administration is ludicrous in my opinion.

Since the travel ban, which they say is not a ban but it is has caused dissention around the world with some countries deciding not to welcome President Trump and others to consider banning US citizens from coming to their countries by denying them Visas. We were just a laughing stock before now we are becoming hated. That also scares me. These things and many others should give citizens of the United States cause to start questioning the goings on and taking a stand to make positive changes.

I, for one, do not wish to live in a walled-in country that other countries do not respect. Do you? Are there better solutions to the problems facing us? Surely there must be.
