Awareness and self defense course offered at Brannon Center for seniors

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Senior citizens always need to keep up their guard against those looking to prey on them and that's why a new course at the Brannon Center could prove very useful.

Whether the threat comes from a mugger, rapist or terrorist, your life is at stake and you must be prepared to do whatever it takes to survive. Fighting for your life is no game – there is a difference between sport rules and street combat – must give up any notion of fair play.

With that in mind, the Brannon Center will host an Awareness & Self Defense Seniors course, weekly for one hour per week, lasting four weeks. The instructor will be Richard Schraeder.

Bring a friend with you and learn how to protect yourself. For more information, please call Nicole Charbonneau at (386) 424-2280 or stop in and see her at the Brannon Center, 105 S. Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach.
