DELAND -- A special edition of Volusia Magazine will feature State of the County Address by Volusia County Chair Frank T. Bruno Jr.
In his 5th Annual State of the County Address, County Chair Frank Bruno says that just as citizens have tightened their belts, Volusia County
Government has tightened its belt, too. The challenges have never been greater, as revenues are declining and the demand for services continues to grow. And more and more residents are looking to Volusia County Government for help with health care, housing, and food costs.
Because the county has been financially prudent, forged new partnerships and sought and implemented creative solutions, says Bruno,
the state of the county is good. With significant progress on many fronts, collective achievements affirm that good things happen when we set aside our differences and work together as a community.
This week, Volusia Magazine, Volusia County’s weekly public information television program, will feature Bruno as he delivers his
State of the County address, focusing on partnerships, collaborations, challenges and successes throughout Volusia County. According to Bruno, tremendous opportunities lie in the solutions of the future.
The 30-minute Volusia Magazine airs Sunday (March 29) at 5 p.m. and repeats Monday (March 30) at 7:30 p.m. on WDSC-TV15. To watch Channel 15, turn your television to UHF channel 15 or consult your cable television listings. All cable television stations in Volusia County carry WDSC TV-15.
