NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Police responded 3:44 p.m. Wednesday to a report of "shots fired" at 916 Palmetto St., apartment A, and after getting information from the intended victims who were not injured, police caught up with the suspect vehicle that fled and arrested the occupants.

Police charged Tamrea Jo-Ann Busbey, 19; Kyle Patrick Doolin, 18; and a juvenile with shooting into an occupied dwelling.

The intended victims were identified as Steven M. Sullivan Jr., 20, and Henry E. Contois, 32, police said.

This is what Sgt. Christopher Roos wrote in his summary report of the incident: "There were no reported injuries. Contact was made with the victims and several independent witnesses who provided the police with a description of multiple suspects and the vehicle that was used to flee the scene. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and three subjects were taken into custody as a result of the investigation. Neither victim was injured during the incident. It is unknown, at this time, if there are additional suspects at large."
