During this season of peace and giving, I want to wish all Floridians a Merry Christmas.
As you celebrate this joyous occasion with family and friends, I encourage you to do so with thanks for all the blessings God has given all of us. Let us open our hearts and with a generous spirit, help those in our communities who are struggling during these challenging economic times.
I also encourage all Floridians to remember our brave servicemen and women, including those in the Florida National Guard, who are away from their loved ones during this special time of year. As they fight to defend our freedoms and bring peace and liberty to other parts of the world, we pray for their safe return.
As we look back upon the previous year and prepare for the year ahead, may we celebrate the many blessings God has given us and treasure the blessing of friends and family.
