La-Nitta Irene Morgan, age 76, of Geneva, Florida, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Oak Hill on Friday, June 4, surrounded by her family.
Born in Marshalltown, Iowa, Mrs. Morgan, a homemaker, moved to Edgewater in the late 1940's. She lived in the Panama Canal area for a year when her husband worked for the railroad, then moved to Geneva, Florida in 1989. A member of the Edgewater United Methodist Church, she sang in their choir. She enjoyed gardening and especially loved her roses.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by her children, Karon Diane Mello of Chuluota, Geraldine Irene Clinton of Oak Hill, Roger Van Morgan, Matthew Dane Morgan and Valorie Lynne Farnell, all of Geneva; 4 grandchildren, Bryan Scott Foster, Brece Lee Clinton, Shelie and Robert "Kyle" Farnell; a sister Lucille Swift of New Smyrna Beach; a brother Marion Hemphill of Iowa.
