'Cudas faithful encouraged to wear black at Friday's home game against rival Mainland

New Smyrna Beach High School students, staff, administrators and alumni alike are known for their 'Cudas football team as shown in this photo and that spirit will be magnified with the rallying cry to wear "black" Friday night at home against rival Mainland High of Daytona Beach.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- 'Cudas Athletic Director Jose Fernandez asks that everyone "Black Out" for the rivalry game Friday nigh at the New Smyrna Beach Stadium  with visiting Mainland High School of Daytona Beach.

T-Shirts, which were made specifically for Friday’s game, can be purchased during lunch at New Smyrna Beach High School, or at the gate of the game. The high school is located at 1015 10th St., New Smyrna Beach.

T-shirts cost $10 and may be purchased from 11:30 a.m. to 12:55 p.m., Thursday, or from 11:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. Friday. Even if they do not purchase a shirt, fans are asked to wear all black to show their ‘Cudas spirit.
