Education: Bachelor’s degree from Nova University in Management.

Employment: Served as the president of the Chamber of Commerce of West Volusia before returning to the County Council in 2007. Prior to that, worked in the health care field where she ran the Business office operations for several facilities.

Family: She and husband, Edward, were married in 1969. They have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.
