Over 40 years ago, Frank Bruno and his wife, Mary, visited Daytona Beach from New Jersey. He's not sure if it was the warm weather, the beautiful beaches or tropical landscape, but before the Brunos left, Frank had fallen in love with Florida. Within a few months, the newlyweds purchased a home in Ponce Inlet and relocated their young family.
In Florida, Frank found a quality of life that allowed him to start and grow a successful printing company. The Brunos started a family and focused on giving back to a community that had given them so much. Mary served on various charitable boards and Frank served in local government.
For the last 25 years, Frank Bruno has been a leader in promoting small businesses and responsible economic growth in Volusia County. As a successful local business leader and public official, Frank has focused on attracting quality jobs to Central Florida and was a leader in bringing SunRail to all of Central Florida. All of their efforts preserve the gifts and opportunities that Florida has to offer.
Frank has devoted himself to charities that focus on helping those with physical impairments and disabled veterans. His family, however, is his greatest source of pride and inspiration. Frank and Mary are now grandparents and have now been married for 44 years. Frank looks forward serving in the Florida Senate so that his grandson, Ian, and other future generations can enjoy the same quality of life that he fell in love with over 40 years ago.
