DEBARY -- How many of us thought, great we did not go over the fiscal cliff, yeah, yippee. Then you got your first paycheck of year and then thought well I am over the fiscal cliff even though the government is not.
Our paychecks are being reduced further by another 2 percent for social security payroll taxes. The payroll tax went from 4.2 to 6.2 percent, immediately after the ball dropped in Times Square. W
hat I want to know is if social security runs out of money, that we all paid extra into, will we get a refund or will the government just say "sorry?"
From everything I have heard social security is running out of money. Well, I guess the government is not good at financial planning and now they will be in control of our health care. We won't have to worry about social security because our life span will go down under Obamacare because of rationing care: when we have to wait six weeks to see our doctor! There, another problem solved by the Democrats.
Think of your paycheck just a couple of weeks ago, and your paycheck now. What will you have to cut back on to makeup the difference?
There is a tax hike for all of us regardless what the government says. In this economy how many people are getting raises? Most people have not seen a raise in the last few years. In fact, salaries have gone down not because companies are decreasing pay, but because of Obamacare has increased the cost of our health insurance which decreases our take home pay. Now we get another decrease in money in our pockets.

Maybe we all should quit our jobs because at the rate we are going we would have more money living off the government than actually working. I was watching Adam Corolla on FOX News relating a story about growing up and his mother was on welfare. He told her ,"Why don't you get a job?" so they could have more, have a better life and his mother said, "Why would I do that because I will lose my welfare?" Fortunately, he did not follow in that path; but more and more of Americans are falling into that trap.
Once in that cycle, it will be harder for them to get of it. Besides the social security payroll taxes, long term capital gains taxes are going up from 15% to 20%. So we all know that Mitt Romney will now be paying more on his capital gains income. Also instead of the $250,000 income, those making $400,000 will be hit with the highest tax bracket of 39.6%.
I am still trying to figure out where the government will be making their cuts. We are all paying, where is their sacrifice? All of us will suffer in 2013 except the government and their out of control spending. Once more, the tax and spend liberal policies of Jimmy Carter are here. If you think the housing market is in trouble now, think where it will be when interest rates hit double digits and take home pay has been consumed by taxes and inflation.
The $8 loaf of bread and the $6 gallon of gas is right around the corner. But no problem, we can always get a loan from Al Gore; after making $500 million with selling a TV channel (that nobody watched anyway) to new best friends in Al Jazeera.

Gore should have no problem helping the common American: If we can catch him between rides on his private jet. Another example of a limousine liberal with visions of their self-importance saving the world; at least until they make their own fortune.
The Hippocratic Oath is not just for doctors.
