DAYTONA BEACH -- Gov. Rick Scott has re-appointed Robert "Bob" Davis to the Daytona State College District Board of Trustees.

Davis, 76, of Port Orange, is the president and chief executive officer of Hotel and Lodging Association of Volusia County. He has served on the Board of Counselors for Bethune-Cookman University and the Board of Hospitality Management for Daytona State College, which is within the DSC Mori Hosseini College of Hospitality. 

Hosseini, proprietor of ICI Homes in Daytona Beach is a frequent donor to Daytona State College. His wife, Forough Hosseini, serves on the DSC Board with Davis. Her governor re-appointment was back on June 1, 2011 and runs through May 31, 2015.

The governor's re-appointment of Davis was effective Tuesday and ends May 31, 2017.
