NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Don Picard of the Southeast Volusia Audubon Society will discuss the varied and fascinating birds that live in the Indian River Lagoon at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway.

Picard will also address conservation efforts to protect their fragile environment, Pat Kuehn, community information specialist for Volusia County government, told Headline Surfer.
