DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- More than 70 swimmrs were treated on site for jellyfish stings on Father's Day at the World's Most Famous Beach.

Lifeguards also rescued 12 other swimmers caught in rip currents on this Father's Day weekend.

The biggest issue, though by far, was the onslaugfht of the jellyfish, those blob-like creatures with long tentacles in the rolling waves - typically unsen until swept onto the shore by the incoming surf.

Vinegar swabbed on the affected areas did the trick for most of the stung swimmers and surfers.
