ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- Adults can improve their computer skills with free classes at the Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St.
Upcoming beginners programs include:
• Basic internet: 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 11. Participants will learn the basics of the internet and how to use it.
• Basic Word: 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 18. This class will cover such topics as highlighting and changing the size, font and color of text.
• Basic e-resources: 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 25. Learn about the electronic databases the Volusia County Public Library system offers.
Participants may bring their own laptops. Eight library laptops, which use a Windows 10 operating system, are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
