WASHINGTON, DC -- The Magic defeated the Wizards 120-105 Friday night in Washington behind Paolo Banchero's team-high 30 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 three-pointers.
Franz Wagner added 21 points (9-18 FG, 1-4 3P), along with 8 rebounds in the game.
Wizards rookie forward Alex Sarr scored a team-high 19 points and 10 rebounds in the losing effort.
With the win, the Magic improved to 33-38 on the season, while the Wizards fell to 15-54.
The Magic head home to take on the Lakers on Monday (7:00 PM ET, NBA TV).
