ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Magic defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 118-106, Monday night at the Kia Center in Downtown Orlando, behind Franz Wagner's team-high 32 points.

Wagner contributed 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 three-pointers, with Paolo Banchero of the Magic adding an additional 30 points (9-17 FG, 2-6 3P).

This is the fourth time Banchero and Wagner have each scored 30-plus points in a game, the second-most of any duo in Magic franchise history, trailing only Shaquille O'Neal and Penny Hardaway.

With the win, the Magic improved their record to 34-38, while the Lakers fell to 43-28 on the season.

The Magic's next game is Tuesday against the Hornets on the road (7:00 PM ET, FanDuel Sports Network - Southeast - Charlotte/FanDuel Sports Network - Florida).
