SANFORD, Fla. -- On April 3, 2026, an unknown person entered Valvoline, located at 2493 French Ave, and stole two car batteries, valued at more than $300, according to Sanford cops.
When the store associate asked the unknown person if he needed help, the unknown man said he needed batteries and left the store with the car batteries without paying.

Anyone with information on the alleged battery shoplifter's identity, is asked to please contact the Sanford Police Department at (407) 688-5070.
