TC Wilder dies at home in New Smyrna Beach at 88

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Thomas Clinton “T. C.” Wilder, Jr., of New Smyrna Beach, formr owner of the Settle-Wilder Funeral Home and credited with spearhading establishment of the Canaveral National Seashjore, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at home. He was 88.

Palatka man gets life in prison for murdering girlfriend

PALATKA, Fla – Jose Maldonado Sr. pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the gunshot killing of his estranged girlfriend and was subsequently sentenced to life in prison earlier on this Friday, a spokesman for the State Attorney's Office announced.
