DELTONA, Fla -- Anita Bradford romped to victory over fellow challenger Tom Stauffenberg with 64.1 percent of the votes to win the district 2 seat on the Deltona City Commission in Tuesday's general election.

Like millions of Americans across the country and countless people around the globe, they remember the all-too-real horror that came with with two hijacked airliners slamming into the Twin Towers of New York City's World Trade Center, a third airliner striking the Pentagon and a fourth crashing in a vacant field in Shanksville, Penn, by doomed passengers who stormed the cockpit to avert a likely strike on the White House or Capitol Building.
