OAK HILL -- The poster says it all: Wanted! Motto for the City of Oak Hill.

"Obviously, we want to promote our city," Oak Hill Mayor Douglas Gibson told Headline Surfer, echoing the verbiage in the Old West wanted poster.

So why not Oak Hill?

"We have endless possibilities for a bright future for our city," said Gibson, elected in November. "A motto would be great."

We need to look forward to making changes that will influence our lives in a positive way. Take our beautiful city and its water front. We need to once again look to the lagoon as our source of revenue, as it once was. The opportunity is there we just need to explore our options and make plans in this new year to do so.
