Rogue 3's Amy Vogt quitting Edgewater City Council due to husband taking out-of-state job

EDGEWATER, Fla -- The Rogue 3 on the Edgewater City Council is splitting up. That's because Councilwoman Amy Vogt is expected to tender her resignation soon because her husband has secured new employment out of state.

Silver Airways to provide round-trip passenger service between Fort Lauderdale and Daytona Beach starting Jan. 16

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Silver Airways will begin daily, non-stop flight service between Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Daytona Beach International Airport on Jan. 16, according to Volusia County officials.

The free movies include:

• “Alice in Wonderland”: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5. Nineteen-year-old Alice returns to Wonderland, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror. Mia Wasikowski, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter star. Rated PG, 108 minutes.

President Trump: Chief of Staff John Kelly leaving at year's end

Retired four-star Marine General John Kelly, was tabbed by Trump in 2017 to replace Reince Priebus, who resigned as chief of staff after just six months in office.

Kelly, 68, had been serving as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security at the time.
