DAYTONA BEACH – A North Carolina man fired two shots at his girlfriend during an argument today with her and two patrons at a Taco Bell restaurant, Daytona Beach police said.

South Daytona cops: 4 year-old girl drowns in backyard pool

SOUTH DAYTONA -- A 4-year-old girl drowned in a backyard pool just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Emergency personnel responded to 2130 Green St., and attempted to revive the child, who had been at the bottom of the pool 5 to 10 minutes, South Daytona police said.
