DELAND, Fla. -- Two days after Tuesday's primary election had incumbent Derrick Henry winning re-election outright for his seat as Daytona Beach mayor with 50.1 percent of the votes in a three-way race, the Volusia County Canvassing Board officially ordered a recount.

DELAND, Fla. -- After manual machine and hand recoiunts of the votes by the canvassing board, Derrick Henry has officially been declared the outright winner of a three-way primary for his third four-year term as mayor of Daytona Beach.
