ORMOND BEACH -- An 18-year old Ormond Beach teenager was killed early Tuesday after his is pick-up truck struck a tree near the club house in the Ormond Lakes subdivision, Ormond Beach police said.
Jamison Alvin Mulero was eastbound on Ormond Lakes Boulevard at 1:20 a.m. when he lost control of his 1997 Ford and struck a tree. He was trapped inside the truck and had to be extricated by Ormond Beach Fire – Rescue. Afer being aitrlifted to Halifax Medical Center’s trauma unit he died.
An unidentified 17-year-old passenger who was seriously injured was also transported to Halifax.
