DAYTONA BEACH -- The Volusia County Public Safety Coordinating Council will meet at 3 p.m. Monday,
Oct. 25, in courtroom 3 of the Volusia County Justice Center, 251 N. Ridgewood Ave.
Public officials, community groups and members of judicial, law enforcement and correctional services comprise the committee, which works to assess the population of contracted or county-owned detention or correctional facilities. The committee makes recommendations to ensure facility capacities are not exceeded.
