Thomas Rodosky, 58, of Edgewater, shown here on the far left, and Timothy Hubbell, 18, of Daytona Beach, are each charged with multiple counts of possession of online child pornography in unrelated cases. Rodosky was arrested Thursday and Hubbell, the day before.
EDGEWATER -- Volusia County Sheriff's sex crimes investigators armed with search warrants headed Thursday to the Edgewater home of 58-year-old Thomas Rodosky where they found numerous images of children engaged in sexual activity on a computer in his house, an agency spokesman said.
Investigators also seized DVDs, photo albums and several computer hard drives that still need to be examined from Rododsky's computer. Rodosky was charged with 10 counts of possession of sexual performance by a child and booked into jail on $25,000 bond.
A day earlier, investigators executed a search warrant on the Daytona Beach residence of 18-year-old Timothy Hubbell. During the search, investigators accessed Hubbell's computer and discovered numerous images of children involved in sexual activity.
Hubbell was charged with nine counts of possession of sexual performance by a child and one count of distributing child pornography for sharing it with others. He was booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach on $35,000 bond.
"The Sheriff's Office uncovered the child pornography during a routine investigation into illegal on-line activity," agency spokesman Gary Davidson said. "The two cases are unrelated."
