Orlando Sentinel: Dwight Howard wants to be traded

Watch what Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard told the media about his trade request.

ORLANDO -- Dwight Howard has asked the Orlando Magic to trade him, according to the Orlando Sentinel's online edition which broke the story earlier today.

“You only get one time around,” Howard told the Sentinel Saturday night at Amway Center. “You can’t press the reset button. It’s not ‘Call of Duty,’ where when you die, you get back up. Once this is done — once I’m done playing — I can’t turn back the hands of time and play again.”

Howard has been the subject of swirling trade rumors going either to the New Jersey Nets where he would join superstar point guard Deron Williams or to the Los Angeles Lakers where he would team up with Kobe Bryant. The Lakers are still trying to work out a deal with the New Orleans Hornets to acquire point guard Chris Paul.
