ORLANDO -- Glen Davis scored 13 of the Magic's team-high 18 points in the third quarter at home Wednesday night to get by the Miami Heat in the final preseason game for both teams.

The Magic came back from a 14-point deficit at half time, thanks to Davis, the Boston Celtics import, who said "it felt good" being on the floor and in his "new home."

Lebron James led the Heat with 27 points and Dwyane Wade added 21, but the Heat melted in the second half.

Both teams play Christmas Day: The Magic going on the road against Oklahoma City and Miami visiting the defending champion Dallas Mavericks who lost free agent center Tyson Chandler to the New York Knicks, added reserve center Lamar Odom from the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Mavs also picked up Daytona Beach native Vince Carter, who was waived by the Phoenix Suns.
