NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- For the second consecutive day, Supervisor of Elections Ann McFall has failed to post the daily voter turnout for any of the five voting precincts.

Sunday's turnout was noticeably lighter at the New Smyrna Beach Library compared to Saturday when voters waited an hour or longer throughout the day.

Headline Surfer was able to get a hold of McFall on her cell phone two hours after the polls closed on Saturday, but was unable to get her Sunday night after the polls closed for the second day totals..

The 24/7 Internet newspaper feels the figures are important so show voter enthusiasm in the race. McFall did not have an explanation for not posting the results Saturday night. She e-mailed the results and Headline Surfer subsequently posted them.
