ORMOND BEACH -- This week I got a notice from the Florida Motor of Motor Vehicles. In order to renew my driver's license, I need to show a copy of my birth certificate with a raised seal, my social security card and two documents showing my permanent home address.
Surely, the DMV realizes this is both racist and ageist. It is obviously intended to suppress driving by old white people in Florida.
