EDGEWATER, Fla -- Who's the scumbag now Sheriff Mike Chitwood?
It's easy to understand now in his own speeding incident back in January why it took Chitwood 11 long hours of reflection to "insist" that the patrol sergeant who pulled him over meet up with him and give him a speeding ticket afterall.
It's rather obvious that the punisgment meted out agaist one of his own deputies announced days after the supension shows just how piss-poor of a law of a law enforcement leader Chitwood is and yet another glaring example as to why he's just another hak politician with a big mouth.
Chitwood's punishment of Deputy Cory Freeburn for his recklessness in responding to a non-emergency call in which his speed was 81 in a 45 mph zone that ended in an intersection crash that collected three cars and caused critical injries to two elderly persons? A 160-hour suspension without pay or four weeks, that started June 3 and ends June 30.
